You have now entered a site dedicated to the art of black and white photography. Black and white fine art photography is as timeless as a painting, yet as contemporary and cutting edge as it’s surroundings. The work here is not digital, but traditional photography. The forefathers of black and white photography like Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Alfred Stieglitz, and others may have paved the way for the recognition of photography and the black and white fine art form that it is, but it is also the responsibility of the contemporary black and white artists of our time to keep striving in that same direction. And thankfully there are many photographic artists that work in the black and white art form today.

Journeys in Time is a black and white gallery that is open all hours, every day. Like other photography galleries we also have created the site with online shopping capabilities. We are thrilled to feature Canadian Fine Art in a comprehensive virtual home. Come back and visit often. New releases of photographic prints are added intermittently, and the shows and weblog are updated as well. Whether it’s called black and white art, art photography, or the silver gelatin print, the tradition is still alive and well. You will find landscapes, waterscapes, still-life, and monochrome abstracts, with a variety of subject matter. We hope you enjoy your stay.

For those who wish to purchase prints, an online order form is available. Purchased prints will be double matted in white acid free board for permanence, with artist signature on bottom right hand corner of first mat. Top mat remains unsigned. Prints are mounted on archival foam board.

Each print will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, date of purchase, year print was taken, and a brief description, along with title. You will also receive care instructions, as you should with any art investment.

All prints are covered by a full money-back guarantee. If, within 30 days of receipt, you are not completely satisfied with the print, you may return it in excellent condition, for full refund. Shipping and handling are not included.
