Red Door of Jaffa

Old port of Jaffa was an important trading centre on the Mediterranean coast a few kilometres from what is today Tel Aviv. Many will recall the Bible story of Jonah being swallowed by a whale, because he did not want to carry out Gods command to deliver an unpopular message. He was said to have boarded a ship in Joppa, (Jaffa).
